Getting children to engage with the Bible at an early age is something which can pay dividends in later life. The design of this book is very eye-catching and should grab the attention of young eyes and minds...\[and\] provides an ideal follow on from the Candle Bible for Toddlers.

This excellent book of Bible stories for 5-7 year olds is colourfully illustrated and a delight to read though....I could pick out many pages for mention such as the delight on the face of the massive fish when it saw Jonah floating down through the water, or the disgruntled people who saw Jesus befriending Zacchaeus, but they would mean nothing without the words to go with them. Highly recommended.

This excellent book of Bible stories for 5-7year olds, is colourfully illustrated and a delight to read through. The people all have very simple round heads, but the variety of expressions achieved with so few lines are so true to life! The words are suitable for the target age group to read for themselves but would be a pleasure to read out loud to a child of any suitable age – children differ so widely, the ages suggested can only be a guideline.
