    I am a bit of a Bible junkie - I love new Bibles and I really didn't need another one. But I wanted to try reading the CSB as I hadn't read this translation, and I have enjoyed the writings by some of the articles' authors (Paul David Tripp, Joni Eareckson Tada and Mary Ellen Dykas to name a few). My husband kindly said that I could have this Bible for my Christmas present. However, when it arrived I had to have a sneaky little look (after all, Christmas was still months away and I would have forgotten what I'd read by then!). However, once I started, I just couldn't stop. Tears flowed down my face - it was like so many of the articles had been written just for me. It was like Jesus Himself was being my Counsellor (we know that He is, but I really felt His love and healing power so strongly). Leading a small Bible study, I primarily wanted this Bible so that I could be more equipped to face some of the issues the women in my group might face, however it ministered to me so deeply that it has now become my favourite Bible. It is a treasure and one I cannot recommend highly enough.
