This has quickly become my main Bible. I initially got it for a nerdy reason: I was speaking on a particular passage, and I really appreciated the evenness in translation (on that occasion "manifested" at Jn 9.3) to help get my message to work. The quality of this Bible is absolutely beautiful: the font is large and clear and the paper is surprisingly opaque. I've had comments from people sitting two seats away from me in prayer meetings about how clear it is. The reason to get this edition is that the Inside Column Reference contains the translation notes – the Handy Size does not, and is a false economy. I'd heartily recommend that as many people as possible buy an LSB – it's a fantastic word-for-word translation, and it deserves to be much more mainstream in the UK.
