    Although it is a beautiful bible it is too large and heavy for my wife’s purposes At order stage I looked for details of its size or weight but saw no such info. Thus disappointed me but I went ahead and ordered.in the hope it would not be too big/heavy.

    I'm enjoying this version so much more than the others I've read it reads very close to the KJV but obviously easier read. it's reference column makes it easier to find other scripture related to the scriptures you are reading. The concordance in the back also helps you find passages of the Bible where the words occur making it less difficult to find. The pictures in the back are also a nice touch allowing you to see the journey where Jesus did his ministry and Paul's journey too there are also a few more picks to see. Overall I found this Bible to be well made and durable.

    This was just what i was looking for nice large print and good look to . hope to get a lot of years use out of my bible and read every day from it .I recomend it has a good buy .

    Hello there, Could you kindly tell me, when you say 'book introductions' - do you mean that there are explanations about each book in the Bible, like background, about the the author, Jesus application, Holy Spirit and personal application etc? I already have a Spirit Filled Bible and there are these wonderful book introductions about each book which I have found extremely helpful.     I know the language of the old KJV, but not this ‘new’ one. How NEW is it? E.G. ;- have words like ‘thee’, ‘thou’, ‘verily’, ‘behold’ and other out-dated words like ‘firkin’ and ‘firmament’, been replaced with modern ones? In short; what is the change/improvement that makes it NEW?
