This Bible comes in an attractive Clam Shell Box. The New King James Version is a very accurate, readable, essentially literal, Word for Word translation of the Original Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek languages. Straight out of the box the Genuine Leather is very soft and feels nice to the touch and has perimeter stitching. The gold gilt page edges have been applied nicely. The book has black head and tail bands and two satin ribbon markers (one red, one black) and are wide and of good quality. The black inside liner is vinyl for durability and the spine binding is Smyth Sewn (not glued) again for strength and durability. The paper quality is superb being Premium European 36 GSM Bible paper. The text is line matched with hardly any bleed through too be honest hardly any at all. The print is dark, bold and consistent right the way through and the type font and 10.5 type point size make the text clear and easy to read. This Bible comes with 72,000 cross references and in the same column as these are some alternative word options comparing other original manuscripts alternative rendering of words for clarity. At the back is a descent sized concordance and 8 full colour maps. This is a lovely Bible perfectly sized and of great high quality.
