      Please would you tell me what amplified really means in this case as say N.i v ? What leather is used ? What is the exact size of this Bible ? Has it got a concordance? Are there any coloured maps and illustrations? Arte Jesus’ words in red ? Sorry rather a lot ! Frances

      This is an Amplified Bible, not NIV. It is bonded leather and the size is 235 x 152 x 35 mm. The words of Jesus are not in red. As far as I am aware there are no coloured illustrations.

      I am asking a question about the amplified thin line finger index bible, Can you open the Bible up the flat and read it without missing the first letter of each row ? What size is the points size? What's the difference between Thinline and the paperback? What is the difference between a reference Bible and the study Bible?

      The supplier has not provided pictures of the Bible when open, so I can't tell about lying flat and whether any of the text is lost in the crease. Typically Bonded Leather Bibles can open flat. The font is 8.5point. Thinline Bibles are formatted to keep the spine thickness low, usually around an inch and can come in different bindings. Paperback refers to the binding and may or may not be thinline. A reference Bibles gives footnotes and references to other passages to help you study alone. A study Bible includes study notes from academics and Bible teachers with explanation, teaching, or devotional material.
