EasyEnglish is a form of simple English developed by MissionAssist. This Gospel of Matthew is written in EasyEnglish Level A.

This version of EasyEnglish uses plain, simple English, written in short sentences using a limited vocabulary of 1200 words.

There are several levels of EasyEnglish to suit readers with different reading abilities. Level A uses a 1200 word vocabulary and Level B uses a 2800 word vocabulary and the latter is the one most used for Bible translation.
