Product Description
Theological virtues are the focus of this book. Theological virtues are virtues synonymous with justification as a product of God's grace in Christian theology and philosophy. Biblical virtues, since their object is the holy being, are so-called. Aquinas regarded religious virtues as the product of habitual grace in his treatment of the virtues. Aquinas connected religious virtues to cardinal virtues. He considers the divine inclinations of religious virtues, brought on by habitual grace, to find satisfaction in being carried upon in the cardinal virtues. According to Catholic moral theology, theological virtues vary from cardinal virtues in that they are infused into a person by God rather than gained by human effort. The spiritual virtues that have been infused are linked to the religious virtue of Charity.
