    I bought TheMessage after hearing a friend read a familiar passage but given more insight thru its use of contemporary language. Don’t be fooled by the LARGE Print; seems pretty normal to me! I had checked before buying and think it is 10. Paperback. Means the cover is pliable! Very. Already using it to compare with other translations and finding it useful.

    I have wanted to have a Message version for some time - but this one came along at a good time and at a good price. Easy to hold despite being quite big. The large print is a help.

    Does it have verse numbers? (Message Bible outreach edition)

    The Message bible is a paraphrased therefore not every verse is numbered individually. For example there could be a page of text that are numbered 1 -3 for example as it contains three verses. I hope this helps and thank you for using the Q&A Forum
