    Very pleased with purchase. The Bible is lightweight and the type face is clear. My only criticism is that the verse numbering is very feint.

    I bought the Message as a gift for my husband. He had a copy of Soul Food by Bear Grylls which quotes from The Message. He likes the simple yet classic cover style and appreciates the bible in everyday, easy to understand language.

    'The Message' arrived very quickly and was perfectly packaged. This is a good paraphrase of the Bible, so OK for quick reads or clarifying difficult passages from the Scriptures, but not to be used a stand-alone Bible. This larger print copy of the "Message" is well laid oand reads like a novel. It laso has a nice trutone cover which will last a lifetime. Thanks to Eden for providing this quick and excellent service. Will definitely be shopping here again.

    A practical version of The Message. It's not too heavy, The cover is soft but seems sturdy, and the print is clear and easy to read. The pages are sturdy enough to cope with pencil underlining: also highlighter if done carefully scarcely shows through to the other side. The font is possibly slightly smaller than my standard RSV but I find it easy to read. Very happy with it.
