    Duvall and Hays have presented a fundamental and coherent argument and evidence for the immanent divine presence amongst his people from Genesis to Revelation. 'I am their God, they are my people, I am in their midst' is the repeated underpinning. The subtitle 'The Cohesive Center of Biblical Theology' is very appropriately owned. While I was recently studying the Divine Title - Immanuel, I came to the same conclusion as this book although in far less detail. This has significant implications for our experience of Father, Son and Holy Spirit as we appreciate 'presence' by faith and God's overriding desire to be with his redeemed people.
