About the Author

David B. Capes is the Thomas Nelson Research Professor at Houston Baptist University. He is the senior Bible scholar reviewing ‘The Voice’, a scripture project to rediscover the story of the Bible. He is the author and editor of a number of books, including ‘The Last Eyewitness: The Final Week’, ‘The Voice of Hebrews: The Mystery of Malchizedek’, ‘Rediscovering Paul’, ‘Thriving in Babylon’.

Chris Seay is a church planter, pastor, president of Ecclesia Bible Society, and internationally acclaimed speaker. His six previous books include ‘The Gospel According to Lost’, ‘The Gospel According to Tony Soprano’, and ‘Faith of My Fathers’.

James F. Couch Jr. is the associate publisher for Thomas Nelson Publishers for Reference, Curriculum, and Translation Development. He has edited nine study Bibles in his career and shares the pulpit in his church with two other teaching ministers.
