    I own at least 10 Bible commentaries, several Bibles containing study notes and at least three series of Bible Notes, but this commentary is surely the best that I have bought. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to do serious Bible Study. This is not a verse by verse commentary but rather thought by thought, but George Williams has the wonderful ability to get to the heart of the passage in question. As a result, it is not the most Indepth commentary on the market, but what makes it better than the rest is the author's unquestioning loyalty to the Word of God. I do not agree with some minor points of the theology presented in the book, yet I have have not found any major disagreement with it. What makes this a wonderful Bible Commentary? It is Christ-centred, for it draws the student of God's word back to the central and most important theme of Scripture - Christ and Him crucified. No other commentary does this! The Bible is His Story is it not?
