For those who wish to delve deeper into the text of there remarkable letters, this commentary delivers quite a good spread of available scholarship. It is not exhaustive but who has time in our present age to read more than a reasonable amount. The descriptions and exegesis is clearly presented giving a Bible teacher a good insight into textual criticism. Clearly written within classic evangelical thought it provides more than enough for both preaching and teaching purposes. Obviously those studying for theology degrees would want to include this tome into the fold of reading inter subject matter. A clear knowledge of New Testament Greek is an advantage in reading this commentary, but not essential.
