Among most Protestant, Reformed and Evangelical so-called churches, a person is considered a Christian the moment one utters his/her confession of faith in the Lord Jesus, acknowledging Jesus Christ as the Son of the God who became a man and who died for the sins of the world. One acknowledges that he/she is a sinner and seeking forgiveness from the Lord and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. One receives immediate forgiveness and salvation and is considered already saved. All he/she needs to do is to be grateful to the Lord and continues to attend church services, to partake table of Lord, read the Bible, and take part in church activities especially evangelism. Anytime he/she dies, he/she will surely be with the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven forever. This is the gospel as preached by most Protestant, Reformed and Evangelical churches of today and has been for centuries. Most believers of such a gospel have vague or little idea of the biblical basis of such doctrines. The above doctrine is WRONG and FALSE interpretation of the teachings of Paul on the subject of JUSTIFICATION. And those who believed in such a false gospel are certainly on the wrong road to salvation, leading believers onto a broad road to destruction. The Bible is very clear, only the righteous will have everlasting life(Matthew 25:46). And the biblical definition of how anyone can be made righteous is given in Mat.5:8; 5:48; 7:21; 3:15; 19:16-19; Luke 10:25-28; John 16:13; Rom.2:13; 3:31; 8:4; 13:8-10; John 10:27-28; John 15:12, 17; Mat.16:24-25; 10:22; 24:13; Mk 13:13; Rev.2:10. The teachings in the New Testament are clear, that believers must be made righteous by doing good works which means to fulfil the law will receive everlasting life(John 5:29; Rom.2:5-10). It means salvation or everlasting life is not received or given instantaneously to those who confessed their sins seeking forgiveness from the Lord Jesus Christ because no believer is made righteous by the imputation of the righteousness of Christ to the believer on confession of their faith in Jesus Christ. The basis of the false gospel of imputation of the righteousness of Christ to believer on confession of sin is based on this: -Jesus Christ's perfect and finished works paid for the sins of all mankind. Those who made a genuine confession of their sins seeking forgiveness from the Lord Jesus Christ had all their debts cancelled or their sins forgiven and that meant they were immediately justified and the righteousness of Jesus Christ was imputed to them immediately and their sins imputed to Jesus Christ. On immediate reception of the righteousness of Christ by imputation, believers then also receive instant salvation. The absurdity of the concept of imputation of the righteousness of Jesus Christ to believers in the justification process is seen in this little illustration: Martin Luther argued that believers are righteous outwardly in the eyes of the God only by declaration of the imputation of the righteousness from God and not righteousness from their own selves basing on works. Luther's understanding is that believers are equally righteous before God and unrighteous in their own eyes. He is saying that in the sight of believers and in truth they are unrighteous, but before God they are righteous because the God reckons them righteous because of their confession of their sins. The emphasis is on continuance of sins in the lives of believers even though the God had imputed righteousness to them(Brian Vickers - Paul's doctrine on imputation - Jesus' blood and righteouness, pg.24-25). This means the declaration of the God of a sinner to be righteous is an UNTRUE AND UNRIGHTEOUS DECLARATION and that would make the God to be untrue and unrighteous - such a blasphemous teaching The God is always true and righteous and holy and will never anything unrighteous and not true. THIS IS THE REASON FOR THE RELEASE OF THIS BOOK TO SET BELIEVERS FREE FROM SUCH FALSE GOSPEL.
