    The Good Book Stall

    Average rating of0.0

It might be simple but don’t be fooled into thinking this anything but a thorough explanation of Philippians. The introduction is very clear about the context of the book and establishes the background of Philippi geographically, commercially and spiritually to the Roman world and then to the new believers. The rest of the book is a very thorough commentary on the letter and leaves very few stones unturned. This would be an excellent starting book for any bible scholar or student and is a deep read for bible study leaders. It is a good source of information on anything to do with Philippians and for the lay person wanting to understand the context and content of this letter from Paul you would be assured of a rigorous and challenging experience.
