Included with his efforts to restore Priesthood duties, and Tabernacle worship as prescribed by Moses, David collected many existing Psalms, and may have composed just as many more by his own hand And except for a very few collected during the reign of King Hezekiah (and one or two other citizens of Judah) the Psalms available to us today are works of King David; the majority of them concerning the future of Israel and the appearing of Jesus the Messiah? But, it is highly probable none of the Psalms were written during the, "Timeline of Judah and the Second Temple" And so, we see that David followed the instruction of Moses in Deuteronomy 17:14 through 17:20; perhaps without having realized the King was expected to write a copy of his own texts based upon the Books and Law of Moses? ===Deuteronomy's Command to the King of Israel is as follows: And it shall be, when he (the King of Israel) sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites (in other words the King in Israel shall write his own copy of the Bible, based upon, or using the existing books that is with the priesthood): And it (the copy of his (the Kings) Bible that he writes) shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them: That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren (or those he is king over), and that he turn not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Israel. Deuteronomy 17:14 through 17:2
