The book of Exodus is sometimes viewed with skepticism--but it need not be. On close inspection we are able to figure out which pharaoh is in power, why Moses is sent to tend sheep in the wilderness, how Aaron acquired his metallurgy skills, and why he used them to cast a golden calf. Exodus for Ordinary People highlights many events that may have puzzled us when we've read the book of Exodus before, but the answers are there if we look. Paul Poulton is a British writer, speaker, and singer-songwriter. He is the son of a minister and has known the scriptures from his earliest years. He has written for the Baptist Times and other organizations. He talks about modern life, human history, and our relationship with God from a Christian perspective. Paul's books include Fishing for Praise and Genesis for Ordinary People, both published by Wipf and Stock.
