Lydia shows us how to influence the people around us. Elizabeth's life challenges us to care for others. Other women like Herodias and Sapphira warn us against turning away from God toward bitterness and dishonesty. In meeting each of these women, you will grow deeper in your understanding of what it means to be a disciple.

This revised title features questions for starting group discussions and for meeting God in personal reflection, as well as a "now or later" section in each study. This book contains ten studies and in addition to the women above includes sessions on Mary, Mary and Martha, Euodia and Syntyche, and Priscilla.

I love this book. It has helped me to understand the women of the new testament and through them God so much better. Perfect for personal as well as group study.

  • Question
    Maree Farrimond

Please can you tell me if it is better to follow the book order, or does each session stand alone? Thanks

    Answer

In short, yes to both. You can follow the sessions in order, but each one is a self-contained study.
  • Question

This title appears to have been updated. If members of a Bible study group had a mixture of the older and new versions, would it make it difficult for them to follow the study?

    Answer
    Eden Team Member
The publisher has been revising the whole series, usually the changes are minor. If the person leading the group has an updated edition that may be helpful.
