    The Good Book Stall

    Average rating of0.0

This is the first of three volumes which deal with selected themes which appear throughout the Bible, in both Testaments, and which are the foundation of our Christian faith. Professor March illustrates and emphasises the close relationship between the Old and New Testaments with emphasis on the Old. There are numerous references to both Scriptures throughout and he pays particular attention to the true meaning of translated expressions from the Hebrew and Greek. Among a dozen of theological issues covered are Sin, Spirit, Grace, Salvation, Worship and Service. Each chapter ends with reflections to be pondered by the reader followed by questions for discussion. This makes the book a valuable resource for Bible study groups and adult education classes. This is both a scholarly and accessible study of themes which have shaped our Faith.
