An excellent book which my 10 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed. We are collecting the series. I wouldn't agree that the spelling mistake is a howler - took me 3 times to notice it.

The story of Mary Jones is retold here in a format that will appeal to younger readers. Each double page contains a full colour illustration in a contemporary style next to a brief re-telling of Mary Jones’ long quest for a Bible of her own, in her native Welsh. The story is faithfully told, the only error being a howling spelling mistake on page 47. Overall this book would be a good way to introduce the story, which highlights the importance that reading and understanding the Bible should have for every young Christian.
