First published in 1976 and reprinted several times since. Intended for those 12yrs or over, this is a book of stories and guidance intermingled. Each quite short chapter tackles a theme at a time, Conversion, Assurance, Unanswered Prayer, the Occult, Witness and so many more. Thirty in all, each with a relevant story, often with a Bible reference included, many related to Paul White’s time in Africa and familiar in tone to the stories in his Jungle Doctor Hospital series (listed at the back of the book and reviewed by me – just put’ Jungle’ in our search facility. You need to read a chapter a day, and this would be excellent teaching for young and old alike, and worth re-reading many times over. Young and old would also gain from taking heed of what Paul White has to say. Excellent, as its long time in print testifies. I wish I had read it sooner.
