Absolutely the biggerst eye opener for me. I read this book while I was in prison and was at my lowest I have ever been. It sat on my shelf of my tiny cell for weeks before i read it. One night i was ready for letting my life go...i had had enough...i felt such a horrible failure. I dont not know what made me pick up this book that particular night? but i did. I read it all in one night, and after i realised that i still had something to live for...my son and my husband. Instead of letting them down yet again by leaving this earth Peter made me see that i could go on. My journey with Christ has started again. I thank God every night for giving me the grace and wisdom to pick up this book and read it. I highly highly reccommend it. God Bless you for reading this.

This is a book that is very difficult to read if you come from a normal loving family. The first few chapters make you feel angry yet upset at the same time, angry at the mother, yet upset for the very small child as he grows up in a northern totally dysfunctional family. As you read on through the book, it shows God has planted seeds and causes them to grow to fruition and by the end of the book God has transformed Peter from a baby with major profound physical problems and behavioural problems, to a man who is serving God and emulating God’s love and gospel wherever he goes. The theological slant of the book will be viewed by many as very Pentecostal or Charismatic. However I feel we should keep an open mind to everything written in the book.
