    The Good Book Stall

    Average rating of0.0

Originally published in 1995, now re-issued in conjunction with Focus on the Family. This is a book that needs to be widely read! It seems strange to say that I enjoyed this book, but I did. Despite the horrors of abortion – and there are some graphic descriptions here – the book concentrates on the life of Gianna, and she is such a lovely, lively personality that you are carried along by her joy of living. From the time she realised that her birth Mother had suffered a botched abortion, she understood why she was disabled and set out with her adoptive Mother to talk about her survival, and her conviction that God had saved her to do just that. The story of her travels, her meetings with pro-abortionists who tried to ridicule her or ignore what she was saying, and her emotional reception by many who had either regretted having an abortion, or who were concerned by the huge number being carried out in the states – and around the world. Gianna is now a grown woman, and her story and message is more important than ever. Not a subject that comes up in daily conversation, but one that should trouble every committed Christian who believes in the sanctity of life.
