John Calvin was one of those people who changed history. A natural scholar with a brilliant mind, he wished to devote his life to study, until God changed his mind.

Calvin settled in Geneva, devoting himself to reforming the church and providing pastoral care for the people.

Travel with Calvin looks at how a lifetime of friendships, letters, books and training spread Calvin's influence throughout the world, leaving his legacy of Calvinism as his theological and ecclesiastical legacy.

    The Good Book Stall

    Average rating of0.0

The book is a mixture between travel guide and Calvin’s life story. The author is a Baptist minister and also a professor of church history. This mixture is obvious in his writing as well. His point of view is faith, but his background is that of an educated theologian. If you are looking for interesting information about John Calvin, you probably feel the desire for a journey in his footsteps after you read the book. The combination of both typical touristic information and basic knowledge about John Calvin and his becoming one of the architects of the protestant reformation is intriguing. All in all it’s certainly worth its cost.
