Jesus told a story about a young son, his older brother and their loving father. It's a great story that teaches us about God and about how patient he is.

Jesus told stories, great stories, that tell us about who God is and what he is like. In the Stories From Jesus series the parables are retold and explained for young children.

I was really disappointed by these books. Totally cringe worthy. With great big blocks 'What is sin' and a full explanation these are not things to put in a children's book. It could be much more subtly done. I had thought of giving them to my nephew's family who are not Christian but won't now. They would have been great without these embarrassing block of theology!
