My Story is a great new series of books focusing on different characters from the Bible. Using a first person approach, each story is told vividly and with a fresh perspective so that the exciting events are really brought to life.

Each book has a sticker activity section at the back for children to immerse themselves in Bible times and develop a deeper understanding of what God is like in a fun and refreshing way. They are ideal for sharing with an adult or for more advanced readers to explore for themselves.

    The Good Book Stall

    Average rating of0.0

This is a well presented version of the story of Joseph, abridged effectively so that it isn't too long for very young children. The skilful retelling negotiates the details that are perhaps 'too old' for young children without skipping them entirely (with the exception of Joseph's dreams) or, worse, changing the story to avoid them. The book uses different fonts and typestyles within sentences, making some words stand out and others just easier to separate from the rest - my son is beginning to read and I think this perhaps is the best age group for this book. The very short 'journal' at the end with blank spaces to fill in with the stickers at the back of the book was a loved addition by my son, as were the extra stickers for making his own pictures.
