    I think the format of this devotional is great but unfortunately the age range of 8 to 12 is too young for some of the topics. My daughter is 8 and although the book highlights that two pages are not appropriate for very young children I feel it should not be targeted at this age range then. The inappropriate topics are abortion, teenage pregnancy and sexual intimacy before marriage, drugs and child abuse. It's not a devotional for her to read on her own and when we read it together we then have to skip a day because it's not appropriate.
