you! Welcome back, Ruthie! Go! 'Hi, everyone! And, Thanks, Tom! This is Ruthie Barlett
speaking to you once more. I'm back with you, and I've got NEW ADVENTURES IN
FRIENDSHIP to share! BOOK TWO! When my so deeply loved
girlfriends -- and sisters in faith, LaTasha, and
Bethie, and Caitlyn -- when we decided to be The
Rhombus, it was to be girls always looking to OFFER HELP
and MAKE FRIENDS. God has sure brought us some opportunities. Thank you
again, God! Let's see. There's ZELDA -- read the ADVENTURE "Zelda
is Tempted." Zelda was someone spending time in dark,
scary places, mind and body. There's GINNY; she was
this pitiful-looking girl shivering on a bench in a park
when we . . . FOUND HER. That's right, we didn't really
MEET her, we FOUND her and started trying to help her
overcome how she felt about herself. God loves her just
as much as He loves us -- just as much as He loves YOU,
good people sharing in my ADVENTURES IN FRIENDSHIP.
Read the ADVENTURE called "Virginia Spring Beauty." And Ginny brought us to JEANNETTE; Jeannette had drug
troubles, but we strove to bring OUR encouragement, and
GOD's ENCOURAGEMENT to her, too. And one night, when we
went to rescue Jeannette, led next day to a whole series
of FRIENDSHIP ADVENTURES. Come see that parade in the
ADVENTURE titled "We Just Disagree About God." And meet, as we did, AMAKA, and then DWAYNE, and then
ABBY, all people who needed our "Park Bench Prayers."
This BOOK TWO series of ADVENTURES is called "Park Bench
Prayers II." Our effort, our being ready ALWAYS to
help, gave us a SEQUEL! Come along with us again! Read all these new ADVENTURES
IN FRIENDSHIP. They're mine, I guess in a way -- they
are, as it says, RUTHIE'S ADVENTURES IN FRIENDSHIP, and
since I'm Ruthie . . . . But I want ALL OF YOU to share
them, and talk about them, and do that with your friends
