Karen Langtree is an author and musician based in York. In addition to the two previous Angel Small titles and an Angel Small musical, Karen is also the author of Knights of the Wobbly Table, Fairy Rescuers, My Wicked Stepmoth... and The Breaking Trilogy.

In January 2019, Karen was commissioned by the Archbishop of York’s Trust to create the stories and illustrations for The Young Leaders’ Award for Key Stage 1 students, an award which empowers young people to make a difference in their community.

Natalia Moore is an illustrator based in South West England. She specialises in children's illustration and has been published in countries including the US, the Netherlands and South Korea. As a qualified art teacher, Natalia also enjoys sharing her love of creativity with others.

    This book is perfect to read to my grandchildren. It tells the Easter story, which has quite difficult subject matter, in a really sensitive way. The book is accurate in the way the events unfolded, and the pictures really support the lovely wording of the story. I think Karen has an obvious heart for children and her faith. I have also discovered that she has written two picture books telling the Christmas story, using a character called Angel Small. What a talented lady..why is not better known?
