This book is funny and slightly gross (in all the right ways) and filled with exactly the kind of tales kids are eager to read. My daughter loves the quirky Bible poems and line drawings--and I bet boys would love it even more. It gives children a great introduction to some of the stranger stories and gets them excited again about stories they thought they knew. The whole while there is great respect shown for the truths of the Bible stories as matters of faith are opened up for discussion. Fun for all!
