I bought this for my Son who is almost 7. Since he was 3 years old, he's had issues controlling his anger and recently became violent again. I bought this book for his Birthday later this month, but after an outburst which resulted in him punching me in the back, I gave the book to him a couple of weeks early. After reading it to himself, we sat and discussed the book and problems with being violent to people. We discussed how the Devil can make people become violent, whereas God tries to help people to be more peaceful and be angry in a more constructive way. It really made him think and he actually sobbed that the Devil had worked to make him act out violently towards me. I'm hoping that he will turn to this book on other occasions when he feels angry, so he can have a good think about whether it is ok to hit people when angry. My Son can be absolutely lovely and it's because of him believing in God, that it helped me to start bringing my faith back. I have tried so many things to try and help him with his anger, but God is someone he identifies with and I hope that he can keep God close to his heart to help him overcome his anger issues.
