    I so wanted to love this devotional. I liked the premise, taking you through the big story of the bible. It's a beautifully presented hardback printed on quality paper . But the bible passages to read each day are far far too long for a devotional. Today's reading for example was to read 16 chapters of Leviticus. Many days reading it's a significant number of chapters to read. The author needed to choose a shorter representative passage for each day's readings and so unfortunately I am less inclined to continue with the book.

    This is the bible in bite-size. Bought as a gift, but it's so lovely in reading style and presentation that i bought another for me. Recommended
