I thought this would just be a compilation of Joni’s favourite pieces, but it is much more than that. It is a labour of love for those chosen Bible readings. Joni has poured her heart into the meditations following each quotation. Calling upon her personal experiences and of those she has met and heard about during her incredible life. Being confined to a wheelchair does not stop her being active in thought, word and deed to further God’s work. It is a shame to read through these pieces as a reviewer, they each need to be mulled over in the hours after reading, absorbing the teaching of the Bible verses, listening to what Joni has to say, and praying her short suggested prayer with heartfelt sincerity.
