There is text, imagination, creative and faith fused in a wonderful and rare preacher-pastor mix. Her imagery is so clear it feels that your senses come alive in the spirit, with her writing and the further invitation to life in God. Truth is made accessible, deep and yet beautiful in this new title of hers. Having read two others of Barbara Brown Taylor's, this I enjoyed the most, with the 'three crosses that make the Christian faith,' a truth that has remained for this reader. Sadly the design format and print font could have better and more attractively supported the excellent content. Rich, brilliant and challenging in every which way. Barbara Brown Taylor is really a spiritual tour de force! This will renew, deepen and beautify your spirit.
