Pilgrims Make Progress is a book of devotional medi­tations which takes a refreshing and honest look at life, and is a must for anyone who at times finds the Christian faith a struggle.

Howard Booth emphasises the impor­tance of the relationship between body, mind and spirit, and offers simple exercises which help form the gateway to effec­tive meditation and reflection.

Each meditation opens with per­sonal thoughts and experiences from the author's own life which stimu­late our thinking; then we are given verses from Alan Dale's famed Bible translations, followed by a passage from Julian of Norwich, both of which con­nect in some way with the opening meditation to which we can respond in prayer and contemplation.
