A new character is introduced into the Narnia stories. Peter and Susan are now too old to travel to Aslan’s land of Narnia. While the younger two, Edmund and Lucy, are staying with their obnoxious cousin Eustace Scrubb, they are called back to Narnia and with them goes a very put out and ungracious Eustace! They find themselves on the sailing ship Edmund and Lucy were admiring in a picture in Lucy’s room! The ship is taking Lucy and Edmund’s old friend, now King Caspian, to seek Caspian’s father’s old friends who set sail into the unknown on a journey of exploration on the orders of Caspian’s evil uncle Miraz. Caspian has pledged to find out what has happened to them. Accompanied by Edmund, Lucy and the very reluctant Eustace the voyage continues into the unknown and a new series of adventures.
