Asa always lived an uneventful, solitary life-until he died, somehow waking in a strange new world with three young strangers. The outcasts must learn to work as a team when they are thrust into mankind's struggle for survival. Guided by the mysterious Re'u, they are given gifts to aid them in their quest to find the legendary Sword of Re'u, the only weapon able to defeat Ba'altose, King of the Undead.
