He believes them to be strangers...
The door opened suddenly, and there she was. Carter forgot what he was saying and simply stared at the vision before him. Hang his imagination; this woman was far more intriguing in the flesh.

Yet she knows the truth...
Catherine found she couldn't look away, he was so very handsome. His face had a rather rugged look, perhaps more so than she'd noticed five years ago. How strange that he'd never married.

Now that their paths have crossed again, can Catherine break free from the past to embrace the chance for love?

    The Good Book Stall

    Average rating of0.0

I liked the heroine Catherine, and found myself believing in her cause to free her father from an injustice which had caused her family’s fortunes to turn on their heads. I also approved of the way her suitor Carter stood up to his father and brother’s womanising ways. I enjoyed the way that a romance author dared do something different. Hopefully through Tracie Peterson’s imagination, non-Christian romance readers may be given pause for thought! I found the sentence structure a bit simple for my taste and would recommend the novel for those who are after predictability rather than originality. It is intended as light holiday reading as the plot is not for those who thirst for deep philosophy! Large print edition 978-0-764-20473-9
