    A story of art forgery, a beautiful young woman caught up in it through circumstances she found impossible to control, her eventual post with the exceedingly rich Mrs Adelicia Acklen in the wondrous Belmont Mansion, Nashville, Tennessee, shortly after the end of the American Civil War and a handsome young man (of course!) and you get the idea behind this book. I was fascinated with the factual part of the story – well worth checking on line – and how Tamera Alexander has introduced her fictional characters into the scene without crossing the bounds of belief. With slightly smaller font and a few more pages than many Christian novels, we have here a very satisfying book that keeps the level of anticipation alive to the very end.
