There is a lot of well-written fiction out these days with a Christian message and this is one of those books. I love it when the authors include the character’s relationship with God and how they handle the ups and downs of life. When Lucy and Nate marry under strange circumstances, you know in life that a miracle would have to happen in order for that marriage to last or even be happy. As a family they start by placing God at the centre of their relationship and watch as God reveals to each of them their role in the marriage. This story was a reminder that it is good to read the bible together as a family and to rely on God for his provision in all things and the restoration that can be done especially for families that are broken. And before I forget to mention it is quite romantic too – always a winner for me.
