    I almost loathed this book right from the start, and it was all because of 'Precious'. I am not at all keen on 'accessory dogs', nor on people who take them into restaurants. But I'm glad I stuck with it because I enjoyed the overall story very much, and thankfully Precious doesn't pay a very significant role. The Rossi & Neeley families are wonderful creations, and I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series. Funny, entertaining, and a great 'holiday read'.
