Dee Henderson, in interview with US Today, said “At its most basic Full Disclosure is a mystery and a romance. I enjoy writing about cops. With this story I wanted to portray the job that a cop's life really is - the cases keep coming to be solved, and if you're going to have a private life, space for it is going to have to be carved into the flow of work.
"I also like to write about falling in love. I decided to write a bit against type in this romance. From the beginning, Paul Falcon wants to get married and is looking for the right lady. Ann Silver is content being single and hasn't been thinking about marriage. It created a unique romance that I loved.
"And I enjoy writing about faith. What characters think about God, whether they believe or not, interests me. I'm not ready to say a manuscript is finished until I've figured out what I want the book to share about God. In Full Disclosure I explore how God is involved and interacting with us in our day-to-day lives."
"Just finished my copy today. I picked it up last night. great old friends and now new ones too. The plot was classic Dee Henderson, keeping you on your toes the entire time. The love story is so well done. You will not be disappointed. If you have never read her books, you will be hooked, if you have, you will be so pleased." -Karen Lovett .
"I loved it! I loved Ann and Paul and getting to catch up with previous characters. I love how the relationship grows between Paul and Ann and all of the friends they have in common. I would love to see more of Paul’s family in future books. I will be buying first week it comes out, Dee Henderson. I am so excited you are back!!" -Lisa Watford.
"Just finished the book! Wow! Love the way Dee pulled in characters from the other books to update readers. Very nicely written and kept me guessing and predicting. Glad you are back Dee!" -Michelle Thompson.
"Dee Henderson does NOT disappoint with her new book Full Disclosure. It was so hard to put down. The characters are fully developed and the twist and turns are great. For those who love the O’Malley series, you will be happy at the mention of several characters. Ann and Paul are truly great characters. -Brenda J. Bryant.
Ann Silver is a cop's cop. As the Midwest Homicide Investigator, she is called in to help local law enforcement on the worst of cases, looking for answers to murder. Hers is one of the region's most trusted investigative positions. Paul Falcon is the FBI's top murder cop in the Midwest. If the victim carried a federal badge or had a security clearance, odds are good Paul and his team see the case file or work the murder. Their lives intersect when Ann arrives to pass a case off her desk and onto his. A car wreck and a suspicious death offer a lead on a hired shooter he is tracking. Paul isn't expecting to meet someone, the kind that goes on the personal side of the ledger, but Ann Silver has his attention.
The better he gets to know her, the more Paul realises her job barely scratches the surface of who she is. She knows spies and soldiers and U.S. Marshals, and has written books about them. She is friends with the former vice president. People with good reason to be cautious about who they let into their lives deeply trust her. Paul wonders just what secrets Ann is keeping, until she shows him the John Doe Killer case file, and he starts to realise just who this lady he is falling in love with really is....
...
FROM THE INSIDE FLAP: "Officer Silver." The clerk nodded toward the man getting off the elevator. "There he is." She waited while Agent Paul Falcon passed through security. He was tall with authority in his stride, wearing a tailored business suit. She knew his reputation and what was on his desk. Despite his rank and seniority, he worked cases rather than lead a bureau office. He was as far from bureau politics as a murder cop could get, which made him the man who could help her. He was working on too much caffeine and too little sleep, she thought, noting the coffee mug in his hand and the grim tightness around his eyes.
But she'd spent too many days working without sleep herself to find it unusual. "Agent Falcon, this is Officer Ann Silver." She stepped aside in the lobby, opened her flight bag and removed two photos. She didn't bother to explain; she simply offered them. He took the photos. His watch looked expensive, and the ring was FBI Academy. She'd assumed he was married, yet his left hand was bare.
She saw the flare of heat in his eyes as he recognized the murders.
PUBLISHER'S VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: '...It was time for the truth to come out, the murders are done - I can't change that - but some of the secrets I carry around need to be told... Are some secrets best left hidden?
