    For lovers of romantic fiction, this book is part of a series that will be certain to appeal. The main characters are all part of the Amish community, so the book does not contain any nasty surprises to shock of disturb the Christian reader, but the intrusion of the 21st Century world and its problems means that the story feels up to date and relevant. There are plenty of references to individuals faith in God and his sovereignty, so in that sense it is a Christian book. It would not be suitable as a Sunday School prize, but would be appropriate to give to a young person (probably a girl) who might be tempted to read books like the Twilight series. The author has written several books, both fiction and non-fiction, about the Amish community.
