Fiona Horrobin has written from her long experience of interceding for many people asking for healing in a variety of situations. This is not a description of successes or failures in this ministry but as Dr Grace Marshall says in the introduction ‘It’s full of practical insights to help those of us who are praying for others and longing for them to be healed’. Very quickly Fiona Horrobin introduces us to the powers of the occult and the work of Satan in the cases she and the teams at Ellel are often called to work with. These cases need trained teams, who have learnt through previous experience how best to proceed, but along the way, Fiona Horrobin gives helpful advice and directions to the those of us interceding for those around us. Chapters such as ‘Godly Order, Authority and Power’ remind us that we are praying for God to act as He thinks fit, which is not necessarily what we think he ought to do. ‘Authority belongs to God’ She teaches about the prayer of desperation, about our creation in three parts, ‘The gift of discernment’ and ‘Additional practical prayers and Points. It took me some time to read through this book and absorb all I was being taught. My prayer now is that I have learnt from this and will approach intercessions with a different attitude.
