This book was brought forth from my desire to create a field guide for my practice of spiritual life coaching. In spiritual life coaching the 'answers' are within the coachee. I discovered if I was going to be my best at coaching it would be imperative that I knew what my answers were. If I was to discover, and excavate my own answers I would need questions. So began this book. The title, ESCAPED - realities in consciousness, transformation, and eventual transcendence, comes from the fact that Christianity is the Greatest Escape from the corruption of this world - into the Kingdom of God. This book is about escaping into the reality of Christianity. There are 4 PARTS, and 2 supplements. The first part is called Love - Beyond, and a Return to. It talks about love - the purpose of life. Love (as we learn in various parts of the book) is so important I start and end the book on that subject - therefore, it had to have its own part. The second part is called God. It talks about gaining knowledge of God through a worldview, a religious experience, and a direct one on one interaction, with Him. The third part is called the Church. It gives a brief history of Christianity, and tells about the general teachings of the Evangelical Church. The fourth part is called and Us. It discusses the why and reason of humanity - why we are here - going into great detail of the escape. The first and second supplement contain 6 subjects that I wanted to cover. I didn't give them their own part - because they are really sub categories of part 4 - and Us (but I didn't want to mug up part 4 by going on rabbit trails - so I created the supplements and added the much needed information in them). The sections are: For supplement 1: Flux (an understanding of faith, and those who are not Christian), Exercises (an understanding of the mechanics of devotion) and Today (an understanding of a day in the life of a Christian). For supplement 2: Struggle - Considerable Conflict (an understanding of spiritual warfare), Struggle - Emotional Intelligence (an understanding of emotional intelligence), and Struggle - Love (an understanding of love).
