    Reading this book by Susan Sutton is like sitting for a heart to heart conversation with an old friend. In her introduction she shares how two images have shaped her life of faith: life as a pilgrimage and faith as a walk with God. Our years on earth are like a journey and each chapter that follows is a reflection on different aspects of the journey. Susan uses a wide range of illustrations from her own life as well as testimonies from her friends.She draws, too, on the Bible and Christian authors. Towards the end of each chapter are some Scripture passages and questions for reflection. This book would be an excellent resource to use at the beginning of each day in a devotional hour with God. Wherever you are on your journey with God you will find this conversation with Susan an encouragement to keep pressing on.
