    Product Description

Another honest, plain-speaking and contemporary look at the Bible from Dave Hopwood.

In this poignant and exciting re-telling of the gospel, Dave Hopwood imagines what it would be like if Jesus lived in Cornwall in 2008, hanging around with
ordinary guys - guys that don't always get along.

How would they react to him, and to each other, when the supernatural starts to take place in front of their eyes?

It's going to change them, that's for sure - It's going to change the world.

    Sons of Thunder

Sons of Thunder imagines what it would be like if Jesus (Josh in the book) came to live in Cornwall in 2008. At first I was sceptical that a modern retelling of the gospel would work – it does! The characters of the Bible are reinvented in a modern setting and the parables are given an up to date makeover in a believable way whilst keeping true to the gospel story. This fast moving book challenges us to look again at the heart of the message that Jesus gave us 2000 years ago. I can recommend it as a well written and thought provoking read.
