      Product Description

Trust Your Cape: How Women Find Their Power in Giving Back

Calling All Women: Find your philanthropic voice and change the world.

In 2003, Rebecca Powers lost her brother and, as a result, founded Impact Austin, a collective giving organization that brings women and their financial resources together to make a profound impact in Central Texas. Ms. Powers has received multiple awards recognizing her leadership and speaks nationally inspiring women to connect their capacity to give with their confidence to do it well. She also mentors women in cities across the US as they form their own collectives. Visit www.impactaustin.org to learn more.

In Trust Your Cape, you will discover:

      • How one woman's journey from heartache to healing inspired a community of women to raise their philanthropic voices to make a profound impact.
      • How joy results from taking a leap of faith especially when coupled with grace and grit.
      • How trusting your gut and following your instincts pay big dividends.
      • How giving back to one's community brings positive, transformational change to the giver.
      • That philanthropy comes in all sizes, can be learned at any age, and it's never too late to start-so, let's get going!

A percentage of the book's proceeds goes to women's collective giving organizations throughout the US.
