    The Good Book Stall

    Average rating of0.0

I had the privilege of a telephone conversation with Greg Garrett when he was in the UK for the launch of this title over here. He talked about the number of people who had asked him when he was going to do a follow up to his previous book – such is the interest in Comic characters particularly in the USA. Though not a fan myself, I would be hard pushed not to recognise such figures as Superman, Spiderman, Batman etc, after all, I have three Grandsons! Reading this book was enjoyable and informative. Greg Garrett draws out the spirituality within these stories and discusses at length the morality of the characters and the thinking behind their production; their wide appeal is obvious, Superman in particular seems almost Christlike in his thinking and acting.
